Ariadne is an emotional and powerful contemporary dance work that delves into the famous Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.
A wild and angry Minotaur resides in a deep labyrinth of which Princess Ariadne is keeper. When the hero Theseus comes to rescue the group of sacrificial children from the Minotaur, Ariadne devises a plan to help Theseus succeed in his quest and escape the island. Ariadne soon learns that while she can escape an island, she cannot escape from herself.
Told through stunning contemporary dance and live orchestra, this tale promises to take you deep into the labyrinth.
