The Academy of Creative Arts is a developmental program offered to local students from Gr 6 – Yr 12. Their annual showcase, this year, ‘Shine’, is the culmination of their semester’s work in Band, Dance, Drama, Visual Arts and Vocals. The students are able to work with professional artists as well as independently to develop their skills and prepare works to present to you – their families and local community members.
The Showcase will be a revue of all fields in performing arts along with a visual arts display. Come along and join us in celebrating their work as they all shine.
Approximate duration: 2 hours and 20 minutes - including a 20 minute interval.

The Venue: Ulumbarra Theatre
Meaning ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’ in the language of the local Dja Dja Wurrung people, Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre rises majestically from what was once the Sandhurst Gaol.
