CELL 26 `tells` the story of a former prison cell on the Ulumbarra Theatre site.
Using the cell as inspiration, documentary artist Roslyn Oades and local musician Eliza Hull have created an intimate 30-minute listening experience that explores the layers of story embedded in the site. The work draws on interviews, field recordings and original composition.
CELL 26 is open to the public one hour prior to any performance on the Ulumbarra Theatre main stage, and on selected dates.
It is located near the Main Box Office foyer at Ulumbarra Theatre, Bendigo
The work is recommended for listeners aged 12+ years. It contains some coarse language and references to violence and drug use.
Limited mobility access, for further information please contact the Box Office on 5434 6100.
