Melbourne’s acclaimed period instrument chamber orchestra, Genesis Baroque, returns to Bendigo with a dazzling program featuring some of the most celebrated masterworks from the French and German Baroque. The program includes Telemann’s triumphant suite for oboes, horns, and strings, Bach’s wondrous Brandenburg Concerto No.1, coloured with the sounds of hunting horns, oboes, and bassoon, and the glittering, foot-stomping dances from Lully’s Bourgeois Gentilhomme suite that will transport you straight to Versailles!

The Venue: Bendigo Bank Theatre
This unique heritage space has a leadlight lantern ceiling and was the original 1873 lodge room of the Freemasons.
